Denis Bautista

Denis Bautista has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Denis began their career at Emigrant Bank in 2000, where they served as an Accountant in Treasury Support, compiling and analyzing daily cash reports and reconciling cash accounts. Denis then advanced to become an Assistant Vice President, leading audit engagements focused on risk management and governance functions. In this role, Denis identified and assessed risks, developed audit plans, and executed the bank's audit approach.

After working at Emigrant Bank for over a decade, Denis joined CBS News in 2012 as the Fixed Asset & G/L Manager. Denis tracked capital expenditures and streamlined the capitalization process, reducing the CIP account by more than $10 million. In 2013, Denis was promoted to Director of G/L Accounting at CBS News, where they compiled monthly balance sheet forecasts, performed variance analysis, and presented quarterly balance sheets to management.

Recently, Denis returned to Emigrant Bank in 2019 as a VP - Junior Manager - Internal Audit.

Denis Bautista completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Baruch College, where they attended from 1995 to 2002. In August 2010, they obtained their CPA certification from The University of the State of New York.
