James Houghton

James Houghton has been working in the automation engineering field since 2007. James began as a Commissioning Agent for Sundt Construction in 2007. In 2009, they moved to C & C Building Automation Co., Inc. as a Programming Technician. In 2017, they became a Building Management Systems Engineer for BitBox USA. In 2018, they were promoted to Senior Application Engineer at C & C Building Automation Co., Inc. In 2019, they co-founded Twisted Pair Automation. Currently, they are a Lead Building Automation Engineer at Emilygrene Corp.

James Houghton attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2000 to 2005, studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2019, they obtained a Niagara 4 Certification from Tridium. In 2011, they obtained a NiagaraAX Framework Certification from Tridium.
