Dr. Anuraj Nayarisseri

Dr. Anuraj Nayarisseri has 19 years of experience in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Dr. Anuraj started working as a Bioinformatics Project Manager at BioMinds Lifescience Pvt Ltd in 2005 and worked there until 2008. In 2008, they joined Eminent Biosciences as a Principal Scientist, where they are currently the Lab Head. At Eminent Biosciences, they shifted their interest from Structural Bioinformatics to Functional Genomics and Transcriptome analysis. In 2008, they also worked as a Bioinformatics Analyst at Neozene Biosciences. In 2011, they worked as a Guest Faculty (Bioinformatics) at Osmania University.

Dr. Anuraj Nayarisseri holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Alagappa University, which was obtained in 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree at Manipal Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2005. Dr. Anuraj also holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Calicut, which was obtained from 2000 to 2002. Before their Bachelor's degree, Dr. Nayarisseri completed a Pre-Degree program at the University of Calicut from 1998 to 2000. Dr. Anuraj received their secondary education from Bethany St. John's English High School, graduating in 1997. Dr. Nayarisseri has also obtained several additional certifications, including "Finding Data for your Research Organism: Plants and RNA-Seq data" from the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in 2021, "Machine Learning," "Advanced R Programming," "BADGE from IBM," "Python for Data Science and AI," and "R Programming" from Coursera, obtained between 2019 and 2020.
