Anoop Nair

Anoop Nair is Chief Technical Services & Project Officer at Emirates Steel. In this role, he is responsible for providing strategic direction and driving the company’s marketing programs and initiatives in the UAE and across the world, in close liaison with the Board of Directors. Nair is also tasked with driving all capital projects.

He brings to his role more than 25 years of experience in the steel industry and holds expertise in Sales & Marketing, Plant Operations & Maintenance, Supply Chain, Capital Projects, and Corporate Strategy.

In a previous role, Nair was Chief Operating Officer of ArcelorMittal, a multinational steel manufacturing corporation in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Earlier, he was associated with the Steel Authority of India Limited as Chief Marketing Officer.

Anoop Nair holds an MBA from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom, and a BTech in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Raipur, India.
