Erik Geilenkirchen

Erik Geilenkirchen is an experienced executive and board member with a diverse professional background. Currently, Erik serves as a Board Member and Shareholder at Chili Labs, a Partner at EMK Capital, and the Founder of IntelligentBoardRoom, which focuses on enhancing strategy delivery through insights for CEOs and their teams. Erik is also a member of the Compensation Committee at Jerónimo Martins, a major retailer with over €20 billion in revenue. Previously, Erik held significant roles, including Member of the Management Board and Chief People Officer at COFRA Holding AG and Chief Procurement Officer at Techtronic Industries. Earlier career roles include CEO of Domestic Appliances and Personal Care APAC at Philips Electronics N.V. and various executive leadership positions at Ahold, HayGroup, and Ores. Erik holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wageningen University and has furthered education at IMD and Singularity University.
