Christopher Douglas

Christopher Douglas is a Process Development Scientist I at Emmecell since July 2023, with a strong background in experimental pathology gained during a PhD at UC Irvine from September 2018 to June 2023. Research focused on the role of LonP1 in IDH1-R132H diffuse glioma. Prior experience includes serving as a Cell Pathology Lab Supervisor at BioGenex, where management of manufacturing processes for IVD-related products occurred, and as a Research Technician at UC Berkeley, where protocols for viral constructs in mouse models were developed. Additional roles include undergraduate research assistance at UC San Diego, where contributions were made to research on age-related macular degeneration, and a summer internship at Cymer performing statistical analysis. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience from UC San Diego, completed in 2016.
