Matt Finnie

Matt Finnie has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as a Police Officer with the Port Huron Police Department since June 2005. Key roles within the department have included participation in the Drug Task Force from 2013 to 2016, serving as a Field Training Officer, and undergoing specialized training in DEA Narcotics, basic clan lab investigation, and evidence techniques. Matt Finnie has also worked on cases involving meth lab investigations, indoor marijuana operations, and has held responsibilities as a Crisis Negotiator, Evidence Technician, and Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructor. Prior to this role, Matt Finnie worked as a Police Officer in the City of Yale from June 2002 to June 2005, focusing on road patrol duties. Educational qualifications include an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from St. Clair Community College and completion of the Macomb Police Academy in 2001.
