Toni Lima has a diverse work experience in the medical field. They began their career in 2018 as a Radiographer at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and later worked as a Radiographer at Compass Urgent Care. In 2019, they joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America as a Radiation Therapist. In 2021, Toni worked as a Medical Dosimetry Student/Intern at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Currently, Toni is employed at Emory Proton Therapy Center, where they started as a Radiation Therapist and currently hold the position of Medical Proton Dosimetrist.
Toni Lima earned an Associate of Science degree in Biology, General from Jones County Junior College between 2014 and 2016. Following this, they continued their education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they pursued a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Medical Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiation Therapist from the University of South Alabama, completing it in 2019.
Toni Lima has obtained several certifications in addition to their education. Toni became a Registered Radiographer R.T. (R) (ARRT) through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in May 2018. In May 2019, they acquired the certification of Registered Radiation Therapist R.T. (T) (ARRT) from the same institution. Moreover, they hold a Basic Life Support (CPR) certification obtained from the American Heart Association in May 2020.
Currently, between 2021 and 2022, Toni Lima is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Medical Dosimetry from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
