Penelope Moceri

Penelope Moceri currently serves as the Associate Director of Local Government at Emory University, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Penelope was the Deputy City Administrator for the City of Smyrna, GA Government from February 2021 to November 2023, and served as Special Projects Manager and Regional Liaison from March 2020 to February 2021. Penelope's earlier experience includes a tenure as Director of Government Affairs at the Atlanta Apartment Association from September 2008 to February 2020, and as Government Affairs Representative for the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association from September 2006 to September 2008. Penelope earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Colorado State University between 1995 and 1999.
