Anastasia 'Stas' Taylor

Anastasia "Stas" Taylor has a diverse work experience in various social work roles. Anastasia "Stas" started their career as a CPS Conservatorship Specialist II at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, where they worked with kinship and foster caregivers to support the youth in their care. Anastasia "Stas" then moved on to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children as a Development Correspondence Specialist, working directly with the Vice President of Development to compose and edit high-profile donor correspondence. Stas later joined Dallas ISD as a Mental Health Counselor, providing counseling services to students. Anastasia "Stas" continued their career at Parkland Hospital as a Social Worker II, conducting assessments and providing therapy for individuals with mental illness. Stas then transitioned to Texas Health Resources as a Social Worker/Discharge Planner, ensuring that patients' needs were met during the discharge process. Currently, they are the CEO/Founder of EmpathyHQ (formerly Alliance Child & Family Solutions), where they provide direct service and support to individuals in the outpatient therapy department, supervises employees, and establishes relationships with other agencies to meet community needs.

Between 2006 and 2008, they pursued their Masters of Science in Social Work at The University of Texas at Arlington, specializing in Direct Practice with Children & Families.

Earlier, from 2003 to 2006, they completed their Bachelor of Social Work degree with a minor in Spanish at the University of North Texas.
