Dr. Rakesh Kumar Srivastava is a seasoned expert in public health and medical education with extensive experience spanning multiple prestigious organizations. Currently serving as Senior Advisor for Innovation and Public Health at Wish Foundation since July 2016, Dr. Srivastava previously held significant roles including Senior Policy Analyst at NIHFW, where policy evaluations for health, nutrition, and population were conducted, and Chairman of the Board of Governors at the Medical Council of India, overseeing pivotal decisions regarding medical education and ethics. With a foundational background as DGHS at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Additional DG, Dr. Rakesh Kumar provided technical advice on health matters and policy planning. Dr. Srivastava's earlier roles included Medical Superintendent at Safadarjung Hospital, managing a large specialty hospital, and HOD of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, focusing on patient care and education.
