Don Stroud

Don joined Empire Express in January 2007 and is responsible for the new business growth of the company. He brings over twenty years of transportation experience to Empire.

Prior to joining the Empire Express team, Don spent eight years of his career with Ryder, selling full service leases to private fleets and working in operations for Ryder’s dedicated division. Don also successfully sold dedicated contract services for almost five years for J.B. Hunt. He also spent time with Covenant Transport and Great Wide, both in sales roles.

Don holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University with a major in Transportation. He lives in Collierville, Tennessee with his wife Darlene, daughter Katie and son Ben.
