Betsy Bartholomew has a strong background in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry. Betsy is currently working as the Director of Sales at Empire Hospitality, where they focus on delivering exceptional value and service to government clients. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Sales | Transitions at HEI Hotels & Resorts from 2017 to 2020. Betsy has also worked as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Hotel Ivy, a Luxury Collection Hotel from 2014 to 2017 and as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Le Meridien Dallas, The Stoneleigh from 2013 to 2014. Before that, they held positions such as Associate Director of Sales at Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel, Business Travel Sales Manager and Group Sales Manager at Westin Hotels & Resorts, and Sales Manager at Kalahari Resort. Betsy has years of experience in the industry and a proven track record of success.

Betsy Bartholomew pursued their education by first attending Madison Area Technical College from 1999 to 2001. During this period, they completed their Associate of Arts degree with a focus on Culinary studies. Building on this foundation, Betsy went on to enroll at the University of Wisconsin-Stout from 2002 to 2004. Here they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree, specializing in Hotel/Restaurant/Tourism Management.
