Christopher Wall has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences. Christopher is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Empirico Inc. since June 2023. Previously, they worked at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. as a Senior Scientist from January 2021 to November 2022 and as a Scientist from May 2020 to December 2020. Before that, Wall worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Genentech from January 2016 to April 2020, focusing on mitochondrial function and quality control in neurodegenerative diseases. Christopher also has experience as a Graduate Student at the University of California, San Diego - Salk Institute for Biological Studies from January 2011 to June 2015, where they studied metabolic homeostasis and mitochondrial function in a mouse model of mitochondrial disease. Additionally, Wall worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder from May 2008 to August 2010, studying metabolic regulation and cardiac function in Burmese pythons. Christopher also served as a Teaching Assistant and Lab Instructor for various courses at the University of Colorado Boulder from August 2007 to May 2010.
Christopher Wall earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from UC San Diego from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a B.A. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "From the Laboratory to Leadership" from The Leadership Edge in March 2022, a Micro MBA from the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management in November 2014, and a Certificate in College Teaching from the University of Colorado at Boulder's Graduate Teacher Program in December 2009.
