Deepak Gupta

Deepak Gupta has extensive work experience in corporate development, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity investments. Deepak is currently serving as the Chief Corporate Development Officer at EmployBridge since 2022. Previously, they held senior positions at Covanta, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy from July 2019 to December 2021, and Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions from 2006 to June 2019. At Covanta, they were responsible for leading global M&A activities, including deal sourcing, contract negotiations, and investment approvals, successfully closing over 30 transactions worth more than $2.5 billion. Prior to Covanta, Deepak worked as an Independent Corporate Finance Advisor and at BMO Capital Markets as a Vice President, where they originated and executed principal equity investments and M&A assignments. Deepak also has experience in strategic planning and mechanical engineering at Delmarva Power.

Deepak Gupta holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Banking, Corporate, and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
