Bruno Schuermans

Bruno Schuermans has worked in the software engineering industry since 2001. Bruno began their career as a Java Software Engineer at Accenture in 2001. From 2006 to 2013, they worked as a Freelance Software Engineer for Unifiedpost Group, where they were responsible for leading a 6 developers team to implement white label e-invoicing solutions and training junior developers on the latest technologies. In 2013, they began working as a Freelance Software Engineer for Partenamut. In 2015, they worked as a Freelance Software Engineer for FAMIFED, leading a 35 developers team to implement a Social Fraud software for the Belgian Administration. In 2016, they began working for Webuild as a Development Lead, where they were responsible for developing transport and tourism applications in Nodejs/React.js and hiring and training a team of 20 developers. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Frontend Developer for Emporos, developing a Hospital/Pharmacy POS frontend with React.js. In 2022, they returned to Webuild as a Development Lead, where they were responsible for UI and POS redesign of the #1 bus company in Peru, resulting in a 100% sales increase.
