Erica Drounette

Erica Drounette has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as an Office Assistant at Storm Guard of Louisiana until 2013. In 2014, Erica became an Au Pair at Essie Leblanc Nannies, where they provided childcare services. Erica then interned at Lafayette Economic Development Authority from 2016 to 2017. Following that, Erica joined the Louisiana Workforce Commission as a WAE Specialist 2, where they recruited individuals for disaster work and provided case management. From 2017 to 2020, Erica worked in various Talent Acquisition and Supervisory roles at Waitr, where they managed a team of corporate recruiters and implemented recruitment strategies. In 2020, they transitioned to Stuller, Inc. as a Corporate Recruiter and then to Hub Enterprises, Inc. as a Supervisor/Project Recruiter. Currently, Erica holds the position of Director of People Operations at Empower Behavioral Health, where they oversee HR operations and talent acquisition. Throughout their career, Erica has demonstrated strong skills in recruitment, team management, and process improvement.

Erica Drounette, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, which they completed from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the same university, studying from 2010 to 2014. Erica has also earned the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM, with an expected completion year of 2023.
