Amruta Pangarkar

Amruta Pangarkar has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Amruta is currently employed at Empower as a Principal Software Engineer since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Empower as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2021 to June 2022. Before joining Empower, Amruta worked at PayPal as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead from November 2019 to December 2020. Amruta also has experience working at Shutterfly, Inc. as a Sr Software Developer from June 2016 to May 2019, and at Apollo Group Inc. as a Sr. Software Engineer from July 2013 to February 2016. Amruta started their career as a Software Developer at SanMar from September 2012 to June 2013. Amruta also worked at Apollo Marketing (Aptimus) as a Software Developer from October 2008 to July 2011, where they were involved in the development of software infrastructure for online marketing efforts. Amruta's early work experience includes working at the University of Michigan Medical School as a Database Manager and Lab Manager in 2005, and at L&T Infotech as a Software Developer from 2000 to 2002. Amruta has received awards for excellence in performance and team performance throughout their career.

Amruta Pangarkar completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computational Biology at the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from MKSSS Cummins College of Engineering for Women, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, they hold a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, which they obtained from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2023.
