S. R.

Shari R. is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience in therapeutic and educational settings. Since October 2021, Shari has served as a therapist at MindSpa Therapeutic Wellness Center LLC, while concurrently working with Empower U. since March 2016 and as a school counselor and school-based social worker in Passaic Public Schools since September 2012. Previous roles include special education teacher and school social work intern, where Shari developed individualized educational programs and implemented behavior modification strategies. Shari holds a Master's degree in Social Work from New York University, certifications in various therapeutic disciplines, including trauma-sensitive yoga, and has contributed significantly to career readiness programs and family counseling efforts throughout the career.
