Shannon Palmer

Shannon Palmer has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as Community Manager at Empowerly, which they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were Assistant Principal at Success Academy Charter Schools from 2015 to 2021, where they also held roles as Grade Team Lead, Lead Teacher; Integrated Co-Teaching Classroom, and School Operations. From 2014 to 2015, they were Program Assistant at Friends Committee on National Legislation, and from 2013 to 2014, they were Health Care Canvasser at Health Care For All. Additionally, from 2013 to 2014, they were Intake Specialist at Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and from 2013 to 2014, they were Graduate Student Advisor, Office of Academic Advising and Human Environment Regional Observatory Project Manager at Clark University.

Shannon Palmer received a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Studio Art from Clark University in 2013. Shannon then went on to receive a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Community Development from Clark University in 2014. In 2012, Shannon Palmer attended The School for Field Studies.
