Senior Marine Engineer at Emprise Corporation

Michael Ricci has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Michael is currently working as a Senior Marine Engineer at Emprise Corporation since September 2022. Prior to this, they had a long tenure at the Military Sealift Command (MSC) where they held various roles.

From June 2007 to July 2022, Michael served as a Program Manager for T-AO Tankers and other classes of vessels at MSC. In this role, they focused on customer requirements, manning, lifecycle maintenance/repair, and operational issues. Michael was responsible for planning and executing authority over $500M annually.

Before becoming a Program Manager, Michael worked as a Safety Engineer in the Occupational Safety group at MSC from April 2006 to July 2007. From November 2000 to April 2006, Michael served as a Port Engineer for vessels within the Military Sealift Command fleet. Michael'sresponsibilities included managing ABS and USCG inspection compliance.

Prior to that, Michael worked as a Marine Surveyor from June 1999 to November 2000 and as an Assistant Engineer from May 1987 to June 1999.

Michael Ricci attended Maine Maritime Academy from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering Operations. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications as a Chief Engineer of Steam, Motor or Gas Turbine Vessels of any Horsepower from the US Coast Guard and a Universal Technician Certification from the EPA.
