Tim Blazytko

Tim Blazytko has a diverse work experience in the field of security and research. Tim is currently serving as the Chief Scientist and Co-Founder at emproof B.V. since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Security Engineer at the same company from June 2020 to September 2020. Tim has also worked as a Security Consultant and Trainer as a freelancer since November 2014.

In terms of academia, Tim has been a Lecturer at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts since September 2020. Tim has also held various positions at Ruhr University Bochum, including Postdoctoral Researcher from June 2020 to May 2022, Doctoral Researcher from January 2016 to May 2020, and Student Researcher from April 2013 to December 2015.

Additionally, Tim has worked as a Security Consultant at Radically Open Security from November 2014 to 2017 and as a Security Consultant at cirosec GmbH from April 2012 to July 2012.

Tim Blazytko pursued their education in Information Security at Ruhr University Bochum. Tim completed a Bachelor of Science degree from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they obtained a Master of Science degree from 2013 to 2015. Finally, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from 2016 to 2020, specializing in Information Security.
