Michiel Jansen

Michiel Jansen is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in asset management and product development. Currently serving as COO at Emso Asset Management since November 2012, Michiel previously held various roles within the organization, including Deputy COO and responsibilities for Client Solutions and Business Strategy. Prior to Emso, Michiel worked at Citi from June 2004 to November 2012, where responsibilities included directing product management for Citi Capital Advisors' European hedge fund offerings and leading product development for Citi Alternative Investments, focusing on structured investment vehicles with over USD 70 billion in assets under management. Earlier career experience includes leadership positions at The Toronto Dominion Bank, UBS Investment Bank, and Rabobank, alongside a Master's degree in Econometrics/Operations Research from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
