Antonio Varone

Antonio Varone is an experienced scientist specializing in organ-on-chip technology and drug testing methodologies. Currently serving as Scientist II at Emulate, Inc. since January 2015, Antonio has developed advanced models utilizing primary human epithelial cells and microfluidic channels for physiological drug discovery. Previously, Antonio held roles as Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist, overseeing high-profile R&D projects, managing teams, and fostering collaborations with academic institutions. Prior experience includes working as a Research Specialist C at the University of Pennsylvania on vascularized stroma models and as a Research Assistant II at the Wyss Institute. Antonio holds a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Tufts University.
