Eric Khumalo

Eric Khumalo is an accomplished professional with significant experience in software development, data science, and education. Currently serving as the Founder and Principal at Emzini weCode since May 2019, Eric previously held the position of Data Scientist and Privacy Engineer at Good Research from August 2021 to December 2024. Eric’s technical expertise was further honed through a software developer role at the University of California, Berkeley, where contributions were made to the WISE open-source project. Prior internships at Twitter involved software engineering, with multiple positions from June 2016 to August 2018. Eric began a career in education as a Mathematics and Science Teacher for various schools in Zimbabwe, teaching subjects at both Ordinary and Advanced Level, starting from May 2014 to May 2015. Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 2020.
