Patrick Jessee, JD, CAE has a diverse work experience. Patrick is currently the President & CEO of Enable since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Founder & CEO of Thrivant Consulting from January 2021 to February 2023. Patrick also served as the Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel, Co-Founder at Lumatic, a technology startup from January 2019 to August 2022.
Before entering the startup world, Patrick Jessee was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity from February 2013 to January 2019, managing both the international membership association and its charitable foundation.
Patrick began their career as an Attorney at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP from March 2010 to February 2013, specializing in corporate, finance, and international project finance. Patrick also had summer associate roles at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in 2008 and at the Federal Trade Commission in 2007.
Patrick Jessee holds a JD degree from George Washington University, graduating in May 2009. Additionally, they served on the Board of Directors for Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity from July 2005 to July 2007 and was a Summer Associate at Eli Lilly's International Government Affairs Division in 2006.
Patrick Jessee, JD, CAE completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Communications at Purdue University from 2001 to 2006. Patrick then attended The George Washington University Law School from 2006 to 2009, obtaining their Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a focus on Law.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Patrick Jessee has acquired various certifications and memberships throughout their career. Patrick became a member of the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers in December 2009 and joined the DC Bar in October 2010. In June 2016, they obtained the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership.
Patrick Jessee also holds several professional certifications. Patrick became a Predictive Index Analyst through The Predictive Index in February 2016. In May 2021, they obtained the Licensed Enable Consultant certification from Enable. Furthermore, they obtained a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate from the American Management Association in February 2023, and a Certified Nonprofit Board Consultant certification from BoardSource in the same month and year.
