Angel Rojo Blanco has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Angel started their career at Union Fenosa in 2008, where they worked as a CO2 Emissions Trader and later as an International Power Regulation Assistant. In 2009, they joined Gas Natural and worked on CO2 Emissions Reduction Projects Portfolio until 2011. In 2012, they joined Enagás, the principal Spanish transmission, underground storage, and LNG terminals operator. At Enagás, they held various roles, including Head of Commercial and Logistic Operations, Head of Business Development & M&A, and Commercial Operations & TPA. In these roles, they were responsible for the commercialization and logistics of LNG and natural gas services, as well as the development of new LNG logistic services. Angel has been actively involved in the logistics and commercialization of Enagás' LNG terminals in Spain, including the promotion of new services and the development of the Iberian Peninsula as an international LNG hub.
Angel Rojo Blanco studied CO2 Markets at the London Business School in 2009. From 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Licence degree in Engineering at ENSTA Paris. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Energy at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which spanned from 1998 to 2004.
