Manuel Roqueta-Rivera is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the field of biology, currently serving as Principal Investigator and Principal Scientist at Enanta Pharmaceuticals since October 2016. Earlier in their career, Manuel held roles as a Senior Scientist and Scientist within the same organization. Prior to joining Enanta, Manuel worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Sanford-Burnham Institute for Medical Research from August 2010 to October 2016, focusing on hepatic gene regulatory mechanisms and signaling pathways associated with metabolic diseases. Manuel earned a Ph.D. in Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where research highlighted the importance of highly unsaturated fatty acids in physiology and related pathophysiologies.
