Duncan Howie

Duncan joined Enara Bio in 2019 to lead the cellular and molecular immunology research efforts for the company, after an extensive academic research career.

Prior to joining Enara Bio, Duncan held a research position at The Sir William Dunn School of Pathology at Oxford University and jointly held a lectureship in Pathology at Wadham College, where he was responsible for teaching undergraduate Medicine. Duncan brings a wealth of research expertise and knowledge of inflammation, T-cell biology and molecular immunology to his role at Enara Bio, having authored over 60 publications in the field. Duncan has also acted as a reviewer for multiple top-tier immunology journals, funding agencies and serves as an associated editor for Frontiers in Immunology.

Duncan holds a BSc (1st class) in Experimental Pathology from the University of Glasgow, graduated with a PhD in Immunology from the University of London, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
