Norman Smith

Norman Smith joined Enchanted Rock in 2018, bringing expertise in project management, new product development, and critical-service systems management. Smith is an experienced leader, engineer, and entrepreneur with 30 years of experience launching critical technology products for manned space exploration, sub-sea oil field drilling, environmental compliance, and operations and maintenance.

Smith received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He holds patents in remote systems robotics and re-usable rocket propulsion, and he authored the book “Got Progress?” about the people-skills required for leading project teams.
