Brooke Babineau

Brooke Babineau has extensive work experience in the scientific field. Brooke began their career as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Davis, where they conducted research on adult rhesus macaques with brain lesions. Brooke also contributed to studies on stereotypies in juvenile macaques. Brooke'swork at UC Davis resulted in publications in Neuroscience and Behavioral Neuroscience.

After completing their graduate studies, Brooke Babineau worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health, focusing on further research in neuroscience. Brooke then joined San Francisco State University and University of San Francisco as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching and coordinating laboratory activities for various science courses.

In 2014, Brooke Babineau worked as a Contract Science Writer for JoVE, where they prepared scientific content outlines and script for science education videos. Brooke also had a brief role as an Adjunct Instructor at San Francisco State University during the same year.

In 2015, they joined the UCSF Research Development Office as an Intern, where they managed limited submission funding opportunities and coordinated intramural funding review committees. Brooke also conducted analysis and presented demographic data of applicants and awardees.

Currently, Brooke Babineau is working at Encoded Therapeutics Inc. as a Senior Scientist II. Brooke has progressed through different levels of seniority since joining the company in 2020, demonstrating their expertise and contributions in the field.

Brooke Babineau obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis, from 1999 to 2003. Following that, they pursued a PhD in Neuroscience at the same institution, which they completed from 2003 to 2010.
