Brooke Babineau has extensive work experience in the scientific field. Brooke began their career as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Davis, where they conducted research on adult rhesus macaques with brain lesions. Brooke also contributed to studies on stereotypies in juvenile macaques. Brooke'swork at UC Davis resulted in publications in Neuroscience and Behavioral Neuroscience.
After completing their graduate studies, Brooke Babineau worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health, focusing on further research in neuroscience. Brooke then joined San Francisco State University and University of San Francisco as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching and coordinating laboratory activities for various science courses.

Brooke Babineau obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis, from 1999 to 2003. Following that, they pursued a PhD in Neuroscience at the same institution, which they completed from 2003 to 2010.
