Mark Kowarsky

Mark Kowarsky is a highly experienced bioinformatics scientist with a strong background in physics. Currently serving as Staff Bioinformatics Scientist at Encodia since January 2022, Mark previously held positions at Karius and Stanford University, where research included high-throughput sequencing and computational biology. Educational credentials include a PhD in Physics from Stanford University and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Melbourne. Additional experiences include research at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research and contributions to the Gentoo Linux project, reflecting a diverse skill set in both computational analysis and collaborative research.
