Justin Docherty

Justin Docherty has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Justin started their career at Pictor International as a Sales Executive in 1995. Justin then joined Pearson TV/ LPC/ Ascent Media in 1997 and held various roles such as Lead Engineer, Transmission Controller, and Support Engineer until 2009. Justin then worked at Network Services EMEA, Ascent Media Group as a Support Manager from 2009 to 2011. During this time, they managed a team of Broadcast support engineers and provided 24/7 support. From 2011 to 2017, Justin served as the Head of Technical Operations at Encompass Digital Media Ltd. Justin supervised broadcast support teams and provided support for automation playout, MAM, and VOD for Tier1 clients. Finally, Justin worked as the Director of Engineering (EMEA) at Encompass Digital Media, Inc. from 2017 onwards, overseeing engineering operations.

Justin Docherty attended Hall Mead School from 1984 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Film and Television. Justin then went on to study at the University of Derby from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in the same field of study.
