Betsy Lewis

Betsy Lewis is an accomplished nursing professional with extensive experience in healthcare management. Currently serving as Nursing Manager at Encompass Health since August 2021, Betsy previously worked as a Transitions Liaison at Steward Health Care, where responsibility included managing case plans for hospitalized members. Prior to that, Betsy held the position of Supervisor of Acute Care Management at Health First Health Plans Inc, overseeing medical management teams and supporting discharge planning. Betsy's career at Health First began in 1988 as RN Manager, where management of a 37-bed inpatient unit was essential. Betsy holds an Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing from Eastern Florida State College and attended the University of Connecticut from 1985 to 1987.
