Howard Wimpory

Howard Wimpory is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in financial crime operations and KYC processes. Currently serving as KYC Transformation Director at Encompass Corporation since October 2021, Wimpory drives digital transformation efforts for Tier 1 banks, enhancing onboarding and refresh processes using the Encompass platform. Previously, Wimpory held multiple senior roles at Barclays, including Managing Director of Group Financial Crime Operations, where leadership of a 850-strong global team resulted in significant capacity gains and the establishment of a comprehensive Global Sanctions Screening Utility. Other notable positions include Global Head roles in KYC Onboarding and Trade and Working Capital Operations, as well as Head of Africa Corporate Operations at Barclays Africa Group, where Wimpory achieved top client satisfaction ratings.
