Richard Penrod

Richard Penrod has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Richard started their career in 1993 as a Quality Manager at Icon Health and Fitness. Richard then moved on to work as a Quality Manager at Anchor Hocking Plastics from 1998 to 1999. In 2001, they became a Plant Manager at Rubbermaid Home Products, where they implemented Lean and 6 Sigma methodologies to drive process adherence and controls. Richard also successfully turned around a woodworking operation within 8 months and achieved a 1st pass yield above 99%. From 2004 to 2010, they served as the VP of North American Operations at Information Resources Inc., where they utilized 6 Sigma and Lean techniques to achieve stability and successfully outsourced backroom production roles to a 3rd party operation in India. Richard then joined SymphonyIRI Group as the Vice President of Client Services from 2009 to 2012. Currently, Richard is the Vice President of Operations at Encore Capital Group since 2012, where they drive legal collections and support operations, expands the internal legal business, and champions compliance, process improvement, and efficiency utilizing Lean 6 Sigma and Standard Work.

Richard Penrod attended Brigham Young University and graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Professional studies.
