Mario Rugeles

Mario Rugeles is a seasoned professional in software and data engineering with extensive experience in various programming roles. Currently, Mario serves as the Head of Data for Endava in Colombia, having previously held positions as Development Lead and Senior Developer since March 2014. Expertise includes Big Data, Data Engineering, and technologies such as Scala, Apache Spark, and Kafka, with notable projects for Comcast. Prior to Endava, Mario worked at Velocity Partners and RGC Activa in senior development roles, contributing to projects for Direct TV and other notable companies. Additional experience includes programming roles at Colombia.com, Osadio, Inovasoft, Zemoga, Netting Solutions, and Paginas.net. Mario holds degrees in Data Science and Machine Learning from Udacity and a Software Engineering degree from Politécnico Grancolombiano.
