Rafael González Sánchez

Rafael Gonzalez Sanchez has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director General Generacion at Endesa since October 2019. Prior roles include various leadership positions at Enel Green Power, notably Head of Iberia, Head of North America, and Head of Operations from July 2010 to present. Rafael's career also features significant roles at EUFER ENEL Union Fenosa Renovables and Union Fenosa Energias Especiales, showcasing a strong background in project management and engineering from earlier positions at Union Fenosa Ingenieria and Repsol Petroleo. Educationally, Rafael holds an engineering degree in Fuels and Energy from the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Ingenieros de Minas Oviedo, a licenciatura in Ciencias Empresariales from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, and is pursuing a PDD at IESE Business School.
