Anand upadhyay

Anand Upadhyay is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Endor Labs since August 2022. In this role, they help developers with security issues and promotes safe Open Source Software (OSS) adoption.

Prior to that, Anand worked at GitHub from August 2020 to October 2022. Anand initially joined as a Software Engineer and later transferred internally after GitHub was acquired by Microsoft. During their time at GitHub, they focused on safe cloud-native deployments and developed a custom OIDC protocol for authenticating to cloud resources of multiple cloud providers.

Before joining GitHub, Anand worked at Microsoft from July 2019 to August 2020 as a Software Engineer. Anand was involved in developing Devops starter projects on Azure using GitHub actions and integrating them with various Azure services.

Anand also worked at Pramati Technologies Private Limited from April 2015 to August 2020. Anand held roles such as Principal Engineer, Senior Development Engineer, and Development Engineer. In these roles, they contributed to design, development, and bug fixes, and implemented Docker for transforming development and delivery processes.

From April 2014 to March 2015, Anand worked as a Software Engineer at UnitedHealth Group. Anand was involved in the development of an app called LINX for UHC BH, EAP, and work-life balance offerings. Anand'sresponsibilities included incident management, problem ticket implementation, and upgrading a build system.

Anand's career started at Tata Consultancy Services, where they worked as a Software Engineer from July 2011 to April 2014.
