Dick Velings

Dick Velings started their work experience in 1997 as an Auditor/Controller/M&A Manager at Acordis AG. Dick then worked as the Geschaeftsfuehrer/Managing Director (CFO initially) at Sympatex Technologies from 2001 to 2007. Following that, they joined AkzoNobel and held various positions such as Global Director Control Purchasing, Managing Director AkzoNobel Decorative Paints Turkey and Caucasus, Managing Director AkzoNobel Decorative Paints Trade France, Head of Own Stores EMEA/Director of Business Development, Global Business Director Special Projects/Lead Salesforce Excellence, and Managing Director AkzoNobel International Marine Coatings Europe. Currently, they are the Managing Director of Eneco B2B Business, starting in 2021.

Dick Velings earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics and International Management, specializing in Finance and Accountancy, from Maastricht University between 1992 and 1997. In 2014 and 2015, they attended IMD, where they pursued a Business Leadership degree through the Fast Track Top Executive Management Program/AMP. In 2021, Velings completed a course in Profit/Not for Profit Advisory Board at Nationaal Register, acquiring a degree in Non-executive Board Membership.
