Andrew Burke

Andrew Burke has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Head of Trading at Enerco Energy Ltd since January 2017, where responsibilities include managing a trading team for over 400MW of wind capacity in the Irish power market and overseeing a budget exceeding €90 million. Previous roles include Head of Trading and Strategy as an Independent Energy Consultant, where consultation focused on hedging strategies and NBP gas trading, and Senior Consultant at ESB International, where Andrew designed power market models for the Irish and Great Britain markets. Earlier, leadership roles at RWE Trading and British Energy involved market analysis and trading strategy development, contributing to significant annual profits. Andrew holds a First Class MSci in Theoretical Physics from Durham University.
