James Pung

James Pung is the President and Chief Executive Officer of EnerCorp Sand Solutions; he previously served as the President of EnerCorp and formerly served as President / CEO of Energes, LLC since 2015.

As CEO of EnerCorp, James guides the EnerCorp leadership team and greater EnerCorp family, sharing his expertise in developing innovative products and solutions, creating strategic client partnerships, progressing employee leadership development, and reinforcing EnerCorp’s commitment to support community sponsorship initiatives.

Prior to building his career in oilfield services, James excelled in various management and field services roles with large fortune 500 companies like Xcel Energy but also managed growing start-up organizations like Beacon Resources, LLC.

Following the acquisition of Beacon Resources by TETRA Technologies, James led TETRA’s Energy Services Group for the US, directing operations for TETRA’s production testing, water management, and onshore fluid segments as a USA Operations Manager.

James is a passionate supporter of local, non-profit entities, particularly within his community. He currently serves as an advisor for several charities and is Chairman of the Board for CASA Child Advocates of Montgomery County.

James and his wife live in Conroe, TX with their two daughters. He has a passion for hiking, cooking, classic cars, and teaching in their community church.
