Nidhal Badrouchi

Nidhal Badrouchi, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist at the Energy & Environmental Research Center since August 2020, with prior roles as a Research Scientist-Reservoir Engineer and Student Researcher, focusing on lab work, fluid flow in porous media, and geomechanical testing. Badrouchi served as a Research Assistant in the University of North Dakota Petroleum Engineering department from September 2018 to August 2020. Experience also includes leadership as Production Team Lead at NEJMA, where production sustainability and quality standards in oil refining were emphasized from June 2015 to April 2018. Additionally, Badrouchi completed a professional internship at ETAP, a process engineer trainee position with BG Group, and engineering internships in oil and gas refining. Education includes a PhD and a Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from the University of North Dakota, and a Chemical-Process Engineering degree from Ecole Nationale d'ingénieurs de Gabes.
