David Priest

David Priest has extensive work experience in the energy industry. From 2017 to present, they have been working as the Head of Wholesale at Energy Locals. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2017, they served as the Wholesale Manager at 1st Energy. From 2014 to 2015, David worked as an Energy Markets Executive Consultant, providing commercial intelligence and best practice solutions across energy markets. Before that, they were the General Manager - C&I Sales & Trading at EnergyAustralia from 2012 to 2014. David managed a team and was responsible for portfolio optimization, product development, and corporate strategy. From 2001 to 2012, David held various roles at TRUenergy, including Senior Manager Energy Trading and Senior Energy Trader. Lastly, from 1997 to 2001, they worked at ANZ as the Manager of Credit Policy & Decision Strategy.

David Priest obtained a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment in the field of Treasury from FINSIA between the years 2004 and 2007.
