Grover Hettel

Grover Hettel has extensive experience in the nuclear power industry, currently serving as Chief Nuclear Officer at Energy Northwest since 2012, overseeing the safe and reliable operations of the Columbia Generating Station. Prior to this, Grover held the position of Vice President of Operations at Arizona Public Service from 2008 to 2012, where responsibility lay with multiple departments at the Palo Verde Station. Hettel's background includes leadership roles as Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager at NMC, where oversight of a single-unit PWR was managed, along with various operational and engineering positions at Entergy from 1990 to 2001. Early career experience includes startup engineering roles at several facilities and a consulting position at Turkey Point Nuclear Plant. Grover Hettel holds an Advanced Management Program certification from Harvard Business School, an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and a B.S. in Engineering from Arkansas Tech University.
