Somaia Khalil

Somaia Khalil is a software engineer currently working at Energy Ogre since July 2020, bringing expertise developed through an immersive web development program at Flatiron School. Prior to this role, Somaia gained hands-on experience in full-stack software engineering, focusing on Ruby on Rails, ES6 Javascript, and React-Redux, while also enhancing skills in database management and API design. Somaia has a background in education as an Information Technology Coordinator and Teacher at Al Ittihad Private School - Mamzar, where the focus was on integrating real-world applications into ICT education. Earlier experience includes a position as an Information Technology Support Specialist at Makhtom Organization, responsible for maintaining computer systems and providing technical support. Academic qualifications include a BE from Helwan University in Cairo and training from IBM Learning Services.
