Jean-Pierre Dib

Jean-Pierre Dib, Dr. is an experienced researcher and project manager in the field of electrical and electronics engineering, currently serving as R&D Project Manager at ENERGY POOL since January 2023. Previously, Jean-Pierre conducted significant research as a PhD student at G2Elab, focusing on the impact of uncertainty on distribution network investments and developing a real options-based optimization tool for on-grid investments. Other noteworthy roles include an intern position at EDF where Jean-Pierre conducted technico-economic studies on microgrid optimization, and various internships that involved legal and economic studies of autoconsumption and electrical engineering projects. Jean-Pierre holds a Doctor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Université Grenoble Alpes, as well as a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering for Smart Grids and Buildings from Grenoble INP - Ense3, and an Engineering Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering from Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
