Basil Zafiropoulos

Basil Zafiropoulos currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Energy Research Lab since May 2024. Previously, Basil held the role of Consulting CFO at Techniche for a brief period in 2024 and was the Chief Financial Officer at Hypervolt from May to December 2023, where responsibilities included managing factory operations, supply chain improvements, and financial leadership during fundraising efforts. Additionally, from November 2019 to May 2023, Basil acted as the Chief Financial Officer at LYTT, overseeing finance, legal, and business operations for a bp-backed technology startup, and was instrumental in securing two $10 million fundraises. Earlier roles include Financial Controller at Photobox, Interim Finance Manager at Hearst Magazines UK, and various financial positions at Your Golf Travel Limited, Amazon UK, Ernst & Young LLP, and KPMG South Africa. Basil holds a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand.
