Raina Carter

Raina Carter is a Software Engineering Manager at Energy Solutions since February 2014, overseeing the development of large-scale energy efficiency software using technologies such as Python, Django, and Postgres. Raina has extensive experience in API development, quality assurance, and project management while also mentoring junior engineers. Previous roles include Software Engineering Fellow at Hackbright Academy, where Raina developed machine learning applications, and Mechanical Engineer positions at WSP Flack + Kurtz and Guttmann & Blaevoet Consulting Engineers, focusing on HVAC system design. Raina began a career in engineering as a Product Developer at Bloom Energy and a Research Assistant at UC Davis, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Davis.
