Mason Burgess

Mason Burgess is an experienced Process Engineer currently working at Energy Systems Group (ESG) since December 2018, focusing on helping clients meet process and efficiency goals within the Sustainable Infrastructure group. Prior to ESG, Mason served as a Process Engineer II at EOSi from May 2014 to November 2018, where responsibilities included identifying solutions to reduce carbon usage and managing projects related to chemical trials and process assessments. Mason also has experience as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator at Seaboard Foods, overseeing operations of a 1.8 MGD MLE plant, and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Kansas, teaching introductory geology labs. Mason holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology/Earth Science from Kansas State University and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Kansas, with some graduate education in Geobiology.
